Campaign For Liberty

A background on the Campaign For Liberty, the political organization that this site supports – both vocally and monetarily through sales of The Liberty Bracelet.

The Campaign For Liberty is a political organization founded by US Congressman Dr. Ron Paul on June 12, 2008.

Principles of the Campaign For Liberty

The Campaign for Liberty was created to promote and defend the Libertarian principles of

  • individual liberty,
  • a government that adheres to its constitution,
  • sound fiscal/monetary policy, including transparency of the US banking system
  • free market commerce,
  • and non-interventionism in foreign affairs

Ron Paul’s 2008 bid for the US Presidency did not yield victory, but it created a massive grassroots campaign supporting the principles listed above. Thus, the Campaign for Liberty was created in order to continue this support.

Dr. Paul realized that making changes to a government needed to happen at every level of the government, and that a “top-down” approach by running for President was not enough. The Campaign For Liberty promotes a “bottom-up” approach in an effort to gain a foothold in all levels of the government.

The Campaign For Liberty is also an educational program, which stands to lobby against unconstitutional laws and those who support them. It encourages local discussion along with national pressure.

John Tate is currently the President of the Campaign For Liberty.

We Support The Campaign For Liberty

This site highly supports the Campaign For Liberty, and a portion of all proceeds is donated to the Campaign For Liberty. The Campaign For Liberty needs both money and vocal activists to unite and help awaken this struggling world. The Liberty Bracelet does both, and we will always support the Campaign For Liberty.

What About The Tea Party Movement?

The Tea Party Movement was created out of the success that the Campaign For Liberty had done in organizing protests to reduce the size of the government. The Tea Party Movement began with good intentions (as the original “Tea Parties” were promoted by the unwavering Campaign For Liberty), but has since moved towards a more corporatist agenda that has shunned many of the original principles outlined by Ron Paul and the tenets of the Campaign For Liberty.

So while we do support less taxes and smaller government like the Tea Party does, we continue to send our donations to the Campaign for Liberty and Young Americans for Liberty.
