Why did you choose brass?
We chose brass for the Liberty Bracelet because it is a copper alloy. Copper was a key element of Rearden Metal and actually plays a huge role in Atlas Shrugged in general.
I have a copper allergy and can’t wear brass, do you have a hypoallergenic option?
We are planning a hypoallergenic option in the near future. This option will be made of stainless steel. Keep checking back for availability. Like us on facebook and get the announcement as soon as it is available.
What are the Liberty Bracelet Sizes?
Large: 9in / 23mm
Small: 7in / 18mm
If you are uncertain whether the small will fit you well, please order the large. It is much easier to remove links than add them.
Where is the Liberty Bracelet Manufactured?
The Liberty Bracelet is manufactured in China.
Why isn’t the Liberty Bracelet made in the U.S.?
The main reason the Liberty Bracelet is not made in the U.S. is that we were unable to find a manufacturer in the U.S. to make what we wanted. We worked for almost two years with suppliers/manufacturers around the world before we found our current supplier in Hong Kong. When making this decision, we also considered the following points.
- When choosing to do business with a Hong Kong based company, we admired the fact that Hong Kong is repeatedly(17 straight years now) ranked #1 as the most free economy in the World.
- We at Liberty Bracelet believe that free and open trade is one of the best ways to improve human rights in a society. Here is a great article which addresses this specifically as it relates to China. While China still has a way to go, nobody can argue that our open trade policies with China have not greatly improved social, economic, and political life there. A case in point in the other direction would be Cuba. Have the protectionist policies of the U.S. government helped Cuba become more free? Not only is this an resounding NO, but it also hypocritically limits the liberty of U.S. citizens to travel and trade with them.
- Liberty is universal and it is our goal to unite champions of liberty not only in the U.S., but around the World. We have shipped Liberty Bracelets globally and will continue to do so.
How long will it take to get my Liberty Bracelet after I order it?
